Navigating Spain as a Vegetarian
Thanks for sharing this info. Very useful for vegetarian travelers. I am also happy how you adapted and make adjustments so quickly. This is a great life lesson. Enjoy the rest of your stay!
As a vegetarian who cannot even consume egg, I can totally relate to this. Looks like I can indeed visit these places without going hungry :-). Thanks for the write up.
Hola bismayo yo entiendo que es duro vivir en espana siendo vegetarians pero tu estas haciendolo muy biennial
Its so good to know about the vegetarian options
Hey Vismaya! 👋🏼 awesome post and it’s been my experience living in Galicia as well; tons of vegetarian/vegan variety and options in markets and cultural dishes without meat, though sometimes limited in restaurants to tortilla outside the bigger cities and towns.
Vismaya..you have really made us aware of the Spanish cuisine. The pictures are beautiful. Hope you are adjusting to the new way of life. Keep writing.
Thank you Vismaya for educating us about traditional Spanish cuisine and sharing delightful pictures of fresh olives, tomatoes, and a variety of desserts. The cuisine is such an integral part of the culture of a region. Glad you are getting to experience Spain, its people, culture, and cuisine , in an up, close and personal way.
Excellent write up Vismaya! Felt like I myself in Spain and all the description of the pastries made me drool :-) It’s not easy to be a Vegan/ Vegetarian, i always hear people say how we survive just eating veggies. I enjoy reading all your posts, looking forward to read many more of your experiences!!
¡Uau! Delicioso delicioso 😋
Hi Vismaya, Finally caught up with all your blogs today :) Your writing is incredibly smooth and it flows like a beautiful novel. The amazing pictures you add help us visualize and make these experiences our own. Really proud to see you adapting comfortably to the foreign atmosphere and circumstances so well at this age. And yes, soothing musical session by the duo :)
Mouth watering post, Vismaya! I am getting ready for Flan de chocolate!!! Sounds like Laura has made you lots of delicious vegetarian dishes.
Hope you are mastering the recipes to try in San Jose.
