It’s been a week since I’ve been back in Spain, and it feels right to start writing here again. This one will be a shorter segment (since I’m only here for 6 weeks), but I know I have so much to observe and share about Madrid.
I’m so excited to be back here this time for an internship, but more so to be here in a big city (let alone a European capital!). This city is so well connected, especially for those of us who love exploring by foot. Just this past week alone I’ve been exploring all the nooks of El Parque Retiro — a large park in the middle of the city (kind of like Madrid’s own little version of Central Park).
When I’m not working on the weekends, I have so many excursions planned to different provinces of Spain — and with more confidence this time!
I’ll keep this post short, but over the weeks to come, I’ll be chronicling my time in this beautiful capital city whilst exploring life in this country once more and reminiscing past tales of immersion in my forever home town Badajoz.
Hasta el próximo :)

My morning walk to work!
I just stumbled upon your blog, totally resonate with your story as I too studied abroad in Spain and found myself back again in Spain. It's a hard country to leave once you've experienced it ;) Enjoy the internship & your time!
Awesome to read the blog. Have fun in Spain. Looking forward to more of your writing.
